South Cheshire College is the home of post-a6 education in Crewe and Nantwich and one of the leading tertiary and sixth form colleges nationally. It is located on a single campus situated in a residential area about one and a half miles from Crewe town centre and a 15-minute walk from the train station.
The history of Crewe is closely linked with the railways and its rapid development during the 19th century as one of the world’s greatest railway workshops, building elegant locomotives that brought wealth and prestige to the town.
Crewe, these days, has a lot more to offer than just trains. There’s a thriving live music scene, as well as a range of shops, cinemas, the award winning Crewe Lyceum Theatre, a bowling centre, bars, pubs, restaurants and the famous Crewe Alexandra Football Club. There is something to do in Crewe for every taste!
