Fusing skills with business needs

It’s much easier to grow your business when your people have the right skills.

Fuse is here to provide that spark!

What is Fuse?

Fuse is an innovative concept in training, designed to meet the STEM and Digital skills needs of small and medium-sized businesses in Cheshire and Warrington.

We’ve taken time to identify and understand these skills needs using recent local labour market research and designed powerful training solutions in response.

Fuse skills training will future-proof business growth and impact positively on productivity levels for employers in our region.

Fuse was officially launched on 7 July 2017 at a special event at the Siemens Motion Control Plant in Congleton.

A partnership approach

This ground breaking, European Social Funded programme (ESF) will be jointly delivered by South and West Cheshire Colleges with Reaseheath College and Skills and Growth Company Ltd. All our partners are trusted local colleges and providers with vast experience in the delivery of skills training.

The project is co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency and overseen by Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The LEP supports training programmes that will increase labour market participation, promote social inclusion and develop the skills of the potential and existing workforce.
