Transport to College

Transport to South Cheshire College is simple and affordable. Students travel to College from Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and beyond. We have an Eco Travel plan which aims to reduce traffic volume, encourage cycling and walking and provide opportunities for access to public and contracted vehicles.

The College is also part of the local Smarter Travel Partnership (STP) working with South Cheshire Chamber and East Cheshire Council. As part of our sustainable transport plan, the College offers a subsidised transport system for all full-time students.

There are three different options are available, depending on your home location and preferred choice of travel:

South Cheshire College Coach Service
Public Transport Service
Country Council Transport Service

Please note for students under 19, that where a South Cheshire College (SCC 1-15) service exists this is the only service that the College will subsidise. For further enquiries, contact the College transport office on 01270 654636 (term time only). • Mon-Thurs 9am – 2:30pm • Fri 9am – 1pm

Cycling to College

The College encourages students and staff who live within three miles of the campus to maximise their environmental friendliness by cycling to college. We have plenty of secure cycle storage for students and staff to use.

We also have cycle racks outside the theatre building, and at the back of North and West buildings, and there are changing facilities in the sports area to enable cyclists to change before going to classes.
